“I think this is a testament to the coaching staff, really,” Roddy said. “They prepare us for any situation. They prepare us for the adversities that come during the regular season and they do a good job of connecting that to playoff basketball.”
Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins, visibly displeased after the loss, made it known they have a lot of work to do.
“Obviously, they are a good team. They have LeBron (James) and (Anthony Davis). It’s a team we can’t take lightly, so we have to come in and stay locked in to the game plan,” says Ja Morant.

“We are building up to it, and once we get (to the playoffs) I know it’s going to be rocking regardless of the score,” says Brooks.
“I play hard,” Brooks said. “The media gave me the villain role, so I’m just taking it and doing what I need to do with it.”
“Finishing strong and staying healthy, those are the main things for us,” Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks said. “We want to have a little momentum going into the playoffs.”

“Bro, you have to level up each day, and every day I’ve killed every fit,” Jackson said. “And I don’t really be saying that out loud. This was the best I have ever dressed.”
Ja Morant and Taylor Jenkins said the All-Star break will be a welcomed reset for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Ja Morant still believes the Grizzlies are “fine in the West,” but Memphis clearly needs Steven Adams back on the court.
