The goals of the new roundabout design are to reduce crashes, relieve congestion and provide route continuity for I-55.

All work is weather permitting, and a detour will be posted for all closures.
The intersection just east of the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge was a major choke point last year when the I-40 bridge was closed.
“We’ve really got a problem,” Mayor Stan Joyner said, adding the town is “searching for solutions.”
