Citizens and retired military personnel recognized Monday as Memorial Day, honoring those in the armed forces who gave their lives for this country.
“Most of the citizens are looking for more outdoor opportunities,” said Bartlett Parks and Recreation Director Paul Wright.
The summer concert series features eight dates from mid-June to late-September at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion at W.J. Freeman Park.

The Bartlett Station Farmers Market is back for the 2021 season with a new, more visible home at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion, located at W.J. Freeman Park, 2629 Bartlett Blvd.
After a messy Bartlett Festival last year that was dubbed “Mudfest” by organizers, this year's event fared much better. An estimated 7,000 people attended at W.J. Freeman Park.
