Far-flung influencers travel from around world to see Memphis gardens

Bill Townsend, who said he thinks of himself as the custodian of Annesdale Mansion, gave a tour of the property Saturday, June 7, to a group of about 75 gardening influencers.

While on tour, Townsend asked for forgiveness because one of his fountains wasn’t working.

“A garden’s always a work in progress,” Townsend said.
