The Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center heads into its fall season
I’ve seen concerts in venues ranging from Bar DKDC to Giants Stadium — and everything in between.
There are advantages and pluses to all of them. But it’s hard to find a problem with a venue of just a few hundred people.
That’s in part what makes the Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center so appealing for audiences and artists.
The Buckman’s director, Cindi Younker, joined me on The Sidebar to talk about the venue, the organization’s history and the fall season of performances. We also talked about the art and science (and business) of booking acts.
