When businessman Rick James moved to the area in 1987, he took a job on Stateline Road in Southaven.
That was about four decades ago, and now the owner and CEO of South Point Grocery is returning to DeSoto County, opening a store location at Silo Square.
“Opening this store in Southaven is kind of a full-circle moment for us. We’re excited, and we think it’s a beautiful store,” James said referencing the move to the Mid-South he and his wife made in 1987.
