Latest tenants at Lake District bring retail presence to more than 100,000 square feet
The Lake District has secured six more tenants, effectively boosting its committed retail presence to more than 100,000 square feet.
Newcomers Gloss Nail Bar, Brick House Fitness, Mojito’s Latin Restaurant, Crave Bistro, Crave Sweets and Hollywood Feed will join Malco Theatres, Gould’s Salon and Spa, Osaka Japanese Restaurant and The Stock Market Supermarket in the mixed-use development in Lakeland.
Shawn Massey of The Shopping Center Group and Max Hamidi and Ginny Dunn of Sperry CGA, The Magellan Group have been representing the owner, Gilad Development Inc.’s Yehuda Netanel, in lease negotiations.
In addition to the retail space, the Lake District will have 75,000 square feet of office space and a residential district comprised of age-restricted living, Downtown-style lofts and custom single-family homes.
Colliers International senior vice president of asset services Ron Riley was tapped to represent the Lake District’s office leasing while Billy Rodgers of Crye-Leike Realtors is the exclusive residential agent.
Site work is wrapping up at the development that will span more than 160 acres, with plans for the first phase of commercial development to open for business in 2019.
The Lake District is located just south of Interstate 40 at the Canada Road exit where the former Belz Factory Outlet Mall once operated.
