A demolition permit was filed for the former Exxon/Hop-In at 3487 Poplar Ave., clearing the way for redevelopment of one of the most visible retail corners in the city.
Southaven-based Murphy & Sons Inc. filed the $15,800 permit to demolish the concrete slab left after a fire destroyed the building in January 2024.
