A data-center moratorium in Memphis won’t stop SpaceXAI from growing across the border

SOUTHAVEN — Bus after bus shuttled workers down Stanton Road on Thursday, Sept. 17, as the heat beat down on the old, worn street.
The constant roar of dozens of jet engines at SpaceXAI, 2875 Stanton Road, could be heard from the street, and emissions glinted in the mid-September heat.
The wind, as it often does, blew from the south, pushing the full oak leaves toward Memphis and carrying those emissions north into Whitehaven.
