On the floor: Alexander Babb of SOB East and Amelia Gene’s

Alexander Babb went to bartending school due to a loophole in an informal contract with his father. 

“He said he’d only pay for me to go to trade school after high school,” Babb said in a tone that hinted there was more to the story. “I found a bartending trade school, and that’s where I grew up in the industry.”
