What do you cook when Super Bowl Sunday happens during Mardi Gras season? You celebrate both occasions with a dish from Louisiana.
Jambalaya is Chef Kelly English’s go-to recipe for Mardi Gras.
Originally from New Orleans, English owns Restaurant Iris, Second Line, Swamp Bar, and Fino’s. For him, jambalaya is the perfect fare for Super Bowl festivities, and the reason is simple. It’s a one-pot dish that is surprisingly easy to whip up to feed a crowd.
