Recipe Exchange: The Farmer’s mushroom sloppy Joe

A sloppy Joe might not be the sandwich one would expect to put a restaurant on the culinary map. But the version served at The Farmer helped bring national attention to the Memphis restaurant.
Guy Fieri raved about the dish in 2012 when he featured The Farmer on his Food Network show, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
Owner Mac Edwards said the sloppy Joe was the most-requested recipe from his former restaurant then — and it remains so today.
