Like they’d memorized the American Conference standings at this juncture of the season. Like they’d seen the odds and projections to win the league shift out of their favor. Like they’d heard the doubters loud and clear.
Though it’s just one game, consider the point proven after the Tigers (12-11, 7-4 American) crushed Charlotte, one of four American opponents in front of them in the conference’s regular-season title race before tipoff, 77-54 Sunday afternoon at FedExForum.
