Daily Jigsaw: A Novel speed date
Makia Hampton wasn’t bashful with her hopes Saturday afternoon.
“Marriage,” Hampton said. “If we’re gonna be delusional, I’m gonna get married out of this.”
With all due respect to Hampton’s boldness, the future remains to be seen for her and the more than 100 other people who spent their Valentine’s Day afternoon speed dating at Novel in East Memphis.
To celebrate the holiday, the folks at Novel went old school and invited people to log off their dating apps and come meet face to face.
