An old-school record store is coming to Wolfchase Galleria, hoping to ride the wave of vinyl popularity.
Joe’s Records, an independent record store, is opening a 4,200-square-foot location at 2760 N. Germantown Pkwy. this spring.
The store specializes in vinyl LP’s, CD’s, T-shirts, posters and other pop culture items.
“We really wanted to bring back the record store mall environment that was so prevalent in the (1980s) and ’90s,” said Joe Smith, president of Joe’s Records Inc. “The market’s nuts for it.”
