Daily Jigsaw: Around the world in 80 plates
Almost every Friday, Mara Daniele and her grandpa, Doug Duncan, meet for lunch at a new local restaurant to expand their palates and spend time together.
Daniele, a freelance marketer and local influencer, then documents the experience and thoughts on the cuisine in her ongoing series, “Around the World in 80 Plates,” via social media.
So far, they are about a fourth of the way “around the world.” On Friday, June 5, the two were going for their 20th plate together at Emilio’s Grocery on Getwell Road.
