A second 15-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder and will be tried as an adult in the death of Rev. Autura Eason-Williams if requests by the District Attorney’s office are granted.
The department’s No. 1 goal, according to its assistant chief of police services, is to expedite the 911 response time.
The juvenile had two previous charges in November and December.

Harris was arrested after an argument with his ex-boyfriend. He maintained his innocence and expressed confidence the charges will be dropped.

The department’s Multi-Agency Gang Unit was executing a warrant attempt at a house in the 4000 block of Breckenwood Drive when a suspect shot at the officers from inside the residence.
The officer was transported to Regional One Health in critical condition and was later upgraded to a critical but stable condition. The suspect was taken into custody.
