First County Commission meeting of year focuses on Omicron spike
The Shelby County Commission meets for the first time this year, and the focus of the meeting will be on the increase in COVID cases caused by the Omicron variant. County commissioners will get their second briefing from the Health Department in a week about the effect the new Omicron variant is having on local hospital capacity.
