‘It’s not just a bike ride. It’s a sisterhood.’

Five years ago, 10 women set out on a bike ride to the beach as a fundraiser for for West Cancer Foundation. But when they leave Saturday morning, their group will have more than doubled.

The ride is called She to Sea. The all-female group of 22 will leave West Cancer Center in Germantown and bike more than 500 miles throughout five days until they reach Seagrove Beach, Florida.

For seven of the women, the journey is their first time.
