Longest-serving director of Dixon Gallery & Gardens to retire

After nearly two decades of leading the Dixon Gallery & Gardens through growth, director Kevin Sharp has announced his plans to retire.
Sharp, the Linda W. and S. Herbert Rhea director, will step down after 19 years in the role. To ensure a seamless transition for the museum and its 17-acre garden, he will remain in the position through summer 2027 or until a successor is named.
