Redbirds recap: Birds fall to Bats, 4-1

The Memphis Redbirds 25th anniversary season is off to a slow start as the club lost game two of its three-game series at the Louisville Bats, 4-1, in Louisville on Saturday.

Redbirds designated hitter Ryan Vilade’ second-inning RBI single that brought in catcher Yohel Pozo produced the only Memphis run.
