100 straight wins — and counting — for Elmore Park hoops

Last week’s matchup between Elmore Park and Riverdale was no ordinary middle school basketball game. But then again, it was quite routine.
Sure, the game was played at Bartlett High’s shiny gym instead of at Elmore Park and there was a bigger-than-normal crowd on hand as the Eagles were presented with their state championship rings in pregame ceremonies.
There were even a couple of media members on hand — something rarely, if ever, seen on the middle school level
