Redbirds recap: Three homers against Nashville help Memphis trim magic number

The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game homestand to wrap up the first half of the 2026 season with a 7-3 win Thursday over the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
After a 72-minute rain delay, Memphis jumped on Nashville pitching immediately. Three batters after second baseman César Prieto’s RBI single started the scoring, first baseman Bligh Madris’ three-run homer pushed the Redbirds advantage to 4-0.
