NBA Draft Combine notebook: Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson share the floor

CHICAGO — On a sad day for the NBA and especially for the Memphis Grizzlies, the annual NBA Draft Combine continued. Even as news began to spread around the combine of the death of Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke, draft prospects continued to conduct measurements and drills at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena.
The Clarke news likely explained the absence of Grizzlies lead executive Zach Kleiman, who was not seen in the arena, but a contingent of Grizzlies scouts and executives, including Tayshaun Prince, Rich Cho and Chris Makris, were in the stands as two groups, including most of the draft’s top projected picks, took the floor.
Perhaps the second group — forwards and big men — was of most interest.
