The Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 117-116 in Game 1, Round 2, of the NBA playoff series on Sunday, May 1. 

A new series brings new life to several of the Grizzlies’ players, and De’Anthony Melton might stand the most to gain from a matchup with Golden State. 

“We never let anyone get a big head in our family. Everyone played a sport,” said Suzanne Anderson, mother of five.

Emotions were all over the place as the Grizzlies made Game 6 a nail-biter. 

On Friday night, the Grizzlies will have a chance to notch the fifth series win in franchise history, and the first of what we’ll call the Ja Morant Era.

Steven Adams has entered the league’s health and safety protocols and is officially ruled out of Game 6 against the Timberwolves.

The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 6, Round 1, of the NBA playoff series on Friday, April 29 at 8 p.m. Memphis leads the series 3-2. 

The Memphis coach believes the Grizzlies will need their best effort to beat the Timberwolves in a high-stakes Game 6. It starts with being disciplined. 

We will have basketball in Memphis this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. We just don’t know the opponent yet. 

Steve Blaydes’ favorite player was Ja Morant. In the first game since Blaydes’ death, the point guard hit the Game 5 winner against the Timberwolves.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 111-109 in Game 5, Round 1, of the NBA playoffs Tuesday night. The Grizzlies lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. 

The Grizzlies want to put a complete game together, so they are calling on the home crowd to be loud for a full 48 minutes.

With the game and the season hanging in the balance, Ja Morant did what superstars do. He lifted his game, his teammates and the city, too. 

Game 5 featured it all, from highlight plays to celebrities sitting courtside.
