Memphis transfer eligiblity: No documentation, no chance to play
Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway (reacting to play on the court during action against Temple Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at the FedExForum) must wait as the NCAA decides his team's fate. The looming infractions case surrounding his $11,500 payment to star prospect James Wiseman’s family is only part of NCAA picture. (Mark Weber/Daily Memphian File)
The top priority at the moment is the eligibility of key transfers DeAndre Williams and Landers Nolley II, seeking waivers to play this season. Otherwise they may never see the floor in a Tigers uniform.
