Penny Hardaway wants his team to be angry — and stay that way.
The Tigers coach believes there have been times in recent weeks where his players have lost their edge, like in the group’s four-point home win against East Carolina earlier this month or in its seven-point road loss to Temple last week.
And Hardaway knows if the No. 24 Tigers (14-4, 4-1 AAC) want to obtain their goals of winning the American Athletic Conference’s regular-season title and making a run in the NCAA Tournament, that simply can’t happen.
