Memphis AD Ed Scott: Tigers ‘serious about being a big-time player’ in college athletics

Ed Scott knew the mission had begun the minute he hopped out of his gray Cadillac Escalade at TPC Southwind.
Scott, the University of Memphis’ athletic director, was dropping off his golf bag curbside at the clubhouse Monday afternoon before parking his SUV and beginning his round at the 30th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl Golf Classic.
