What to watch in Memphis’ regular-season home finale against USF

In the final week of the regular season, the Memphis Tigers are still in the thick of a battle for a spot in next week’s American Conference Tournament.

This season’s conference tourney — scheduled for March 11-15 in Birmingham, Alabama — includes only the 13-team league’s top 10 teams.

Before the season began the Tigers (12-17, 7-9 American Conference) didn’t expect to be in this position, with a conference tournament berth far from secured in March.
