Search for the name Luke Almodovar, and the first video that pops up is SportsCenter’s Instagram post of the 6-foot-3 guard’s posterizing dunk over Southern Indiana’s 6-11 big man.
The crowd at Southeast Missouri went crazy after watching Almodovar take off from just inside the free-throw line. The dunk went viral on social media.
Almodovar tried to dunk over a 7-footer when SEMO played at Missouri during the second game of last season. He failed, but that’s the type of high-flying mentality Almodovar is bringing to FedExForum as a Memphis Tiger.
