Greg Gaston, Parth Upadhyaya and Tim Buckley have plenty to talk through after a wild week for the No. 13 Memphis Tigers basketball team.

“Coming out so flat, these teams are getting up 10, 15 on us early on. I think that just needs to be a (point of) emphasis on the way we start games and us being the physical team first,” said Memphis point guard Jahvon Quinerly.

“Before it could even really begin, the Mikey Williams era at the University of Memphis is over.”

Memphis was flat out the gate against SMU but eventually turned things around before point guard Jahvon Quinerly played hero. Again.
