Sam Brumfield stood on the football field in tears.
It was his first day of peewee flag football, and Brumfield didn’t know what else to do but cry.
“It wasn’t that I was scared,” Brumfield said during spring camp. “I was just like, ‘What am I doing out here? Like what are we about to do?’ And after that, I want to say after that first play, everything just went away. I just fell in love with it.”
