Collierville selects team to create ‘roadmap’ to 2050

Collierville leaders chose a vendor to develop its comprehensive plan Monday night, a roadmap that will help guide the suburb toward 2050.
Freese and Nichols was selected and is one of 13 organizations that have twice won the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The firm has helped several towns in Texas create comprehensive or small-area plans. Freese and Nichols helped develop the plan for Lubbock, Texas, which was adopted in 2018.
The plan developed will consider land use, traffic, parks, tourism and utilities. Freese and Nichols will partner with other firms due to the scope of what Collierville wants.
