Demolition of former Gus’s in Collierville to move forward

Preliminary plans to replace a historic home — formerly Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken in Collierville — with condominiums near Town Square were unanimously approved by the suburb’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
However, final plans still need approval from the Historic District Commission and the mayor and aldermen.
