Added security: New Flock cameras now up in Lakeland
Christian Pratt (left) and Tommy Owens with Flock Safety install a security camera near the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and Davies Plantation Road on May 19. The solar-powered, motion-activated cameras are able to record the make, model, color, and license plate state and number with a timestamp for vehicles that pass by. (Patrick Lantrip/Daily Memphian)
The Atlanta-based company’s cameras are now used in 38 states and more than 600 cities.
