Lakeland keeps tax rate steady, raises mayor and commissioner salaries

The property tax rate in Lakeland will hold steady for the next year.
On Tuesday, June 23, the Lakeland Board of Commissioners approved a $38.5 million general fund budget and a property tax rate of 94 cents per $100 in assessed value for fiscal year 2026-27, beginning July 1.
