Zach Davis’ career performance pushes Memphis past Baylor

Zach Davis has felt it from Day 1.
When the 6-foot-7 wing transferred to Memphis this past offseason from South Carolina, Tigers coach Penny Hardaway had a vision for the type of player he could become.
But through Memphis’ first seven games of the season, Davis started just three games, scored more than 10 points only three times and never even played more than 28 minutes.
So Hardaway continued to search for the right buttons to press. He poked and prodded, even admitting that he did so to the point where Davis grew frustrated.
In one of the most pivotal moments of Memphis’ season so far, though, Davis delivered.
