Robot helps with knee surgery at Saint Francis Hospital

When it comes to knee surgeries, Memphis surgeon Dr. Ross Bailey has been busy this year — he’s done 300 so far.
A new medical device, first used by him and colleagues at Saint Francis Healthcare in a procedure May 20, has helped with precision and real-time feedback about how each patient’s knee is personalized and requires different work.
That device is the ROSA Knee System, made by Zimmer Biomet, a medical-device company based in Warsaw, Indiana.
