Outdoor music venues pay the price when weather strikes

In 2025, the Steve Miller Band cancelled its 29-leg North American tour, including a Sept. 19 performance for Live at the Garden in Memphis, citing various weather concerns as the reason for the cancellation.

“You can blame it on the weather...The tour is cancelled,” the band wrote in a cryptic Instagram post.
