Republican Mike Ebbs and Democrat Jason Morrison are facing off for Position 2 on the Collierville Schools board in the first town general election where candidates are connected to a political party.
The office will feature a new face as incumbent Wanda Chism is retiring at the end of this term. She’s been on the board since the suburban system’s inception.
The Position 2 race is one of several on the town’s Nov. 3 municipal ballot.
