Tennessee Dems call for gas sales tax holiday

Gas costs about a dollar more per gallon than it did a month ago — and diesel is nearly two dollars more, according to data from AAA. 

With the war in Iran ongoing and inflation still slightly higher than the Fed’s 2% goal, Tennesseans need financial relief, said state Reps. Bo Mitchell, D-Nashville, and John Ray Clemmons, D-Nashville. One way to do that is at the gas pump.
