‘Welcome to Memphis’: Grizzlies formally start new chapter with NBA Draft picks

The Memphis Grizzlies made it official Thursday when they introduced their 2026 draftees in front of a packed FedExForum media room.
One by one, each player filed in behind team general manager Zach Kleiman — first No. 21 pick Karim Lopez, then No. 3 selection Cameron Boozer, then No. 32 pick Richie Saunders.
They sat center to the cameras underneath a bright overhead light hanging from the ceiling before Grizzlies play-by-play voice Pete Pranica grabbed the microphone.
