‘Real from the start’: How QB Antwann Hill was swayed to Memphis
Four-star quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. lit a fire of excitement in Memphis football fans when he announced his commitment to the Tigers on Instagram Live while being joined by rapper Quavo June 22.
Hill, one of the highest-rated recruits to commit to Memphis in the modern ranking era and a former Colorado commit, chose the Tigers over Florida and several other programs from across the country.

The opportunity to play early in his college career and the family-like treatment he received from head coach Ryan Silverfield and offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey helped win him over.
“They were real from the start,” Hill told The Daily Memphian. “They did everything real.
“Having faith in them, having faith in Coach Silverfield and Coach Cramsey; I mean, I know they’ll develop me to be a good NFL quarterback just like they’re doing with Seth (Henigan) as he prepares for his last season in college.”
