Bartlett’s property tax rate could remain unchanged at $1.66 per $100 of assessed value for the next fiscal year, according to the first of three votes on the suburb’s annual budget approved this week.
On Tuesday, May 12, the suburb’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen passed initial consideration of the $189.2 million general-fund budget for 2026-27. Maintaining the $1.66 property tax rate will help funding the annual financial blueprint.
Second readings for the budget and tax rate will take place May 26. Public hearing along with third and final readings are slated for June 9.
