Germantown basket case: Six-hole disc golf pitch is a tricky toss

The Germantown Parks and Recreation Commission recently discussed a possible disc golf course in the Germantown Station neighborhood, but took no action, citing the need for more research.
Just east of Hacks Cross Road near the suburb’s southern border, Germantown Station Park sits at the center of a small residential loop. This 6-acre park on Laurinburg Circle features a playground and accompanying swing set, a volleyball net, eight picnic tables, and a 2-acre fishing pond with a paved trail.
