New restaurant headed for former Alchemy space

A new Thai restaurant is coming to the former Alchemy Memphis space in Cooper-Young.

Basil and Jade should open in the 4,500-square-foot space at 940 S. Cooper St. in about six months, according to owner Lorena Leong.
