Memphis ends the year with a 7-7-3 mark and will miss out on a second straight NCAA Tournament trip.

The voters have spoken. And they have chosen Canon Day as The Daily Memphian high school football player of the week for Week 12.

Friday night in San Francisco, the Grizzlies will complete their first West Coast road trip against a team that’s so far had even more success this season with a similar approach: the Golden State Warriors.

When the Grizzlies hit the FedExForum court on Sunday, they are throwing it back to 1974 with new city edition uniforms themed after the American Basketball Association’s Memphis Sounds.
