“The league has had six different champions throughout the last six seasons. Who are these guys? Are they lucky No. 7? Are they the contender the city of Memphis is hoping for?”

Monday’s media day had all the usual media day moments, but this media day was grounded in high hopes and high expectations, despite coming off a 27-win season. 

“That was really somebody who was in my corner before I was ever good at basketball, for real,” Jackson said during Monday’s Grizzlies Media Day

“When I’m hit, I always get up,” Morant says in the commercial. “When no one is watching, I get up.”
