Mardi Gras is just around the corner, and the Memphis women’s team showed their New Orleans rivals a thing or two about basketball.

The Tigers will have no shortage of motivation Sunday when they face the Green Wave for the second time in three weeks. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 1 p.m.

Though Memphis beat Temple on the road, the Tigers’ performance still left questions about the type of team they truly are.
