Wang’s Mandarin House founders retire, sell longtime restaurant

Shelly Ansley once thought she and her brother would never retire from Wangβs Mandarin House, the restaurant they opened and ran for 43 years.Β
But Ansley, 75, and David Wang, 73, sold the business at 6065 Park Ave. last November after Wang was diagnosed with a serious illness.Β
βMy brother and I were always joking with each other that we were not going to walk out of here, we were going to get carried out of here,β Ansley said.
